BaaCentric was founded in 2023 by a youth who saw a huge disconnect among most youth from their own self, unique gifts and higher potential. From a young age, Summeya A not only observed this disconnect but also experienced it herself, particularly with how much we seek Love outside of ourselves, leading to deeper struggles, not realizing it all starts within.
This realization along with other aspects of her personal journey, led her to author her first book, Flaws Are the New Perfections: A Self-Love Book for Teens, at the age of 14. The book was later translated into Arabic and sold out in local Middle Eastern bookstores. She later co-founded her high-school's first Mental Health Club & launched Saudi's first virtual self-development Summer Camp. Summeya, who has been creating purposeful content online for the past 9 years, is now specializing in Psychology with a focus on Islamic Spiritually integrated healing. However, she decided it was finally time to try further benefit & serve her online community of over 120k hearts by forming a more centric, intentional space BaaCentric-for youth to access resources, get inspired, heal gently but beautifully & come together as we begin to walk on the path of refinement, Love & excellence (Ihsaan) as laid out by God's Most Beloved, Prophet Muhammad ï·º as the catalyst to connecting to our true self which takes one to true fulfillment.

Founder Sharifa Summeya Ali spent over seventeen years in the Hijaz, where she was nurtured within the gatherings of Praise and in her teenage years trained in Daff and Qasa'id under the tutelage of Ahl Al Bayt Ba'Alawi Habiab females. During this period and more specifically upon graduating from her High School, she received ijazat and blessings from various guides to spread these teachings of Prophetic Love globally through BaaCentric. Thus far, she has been teaching the highly demanded BaaCentric ‘Healing Through Sound’ Females Beginner Daff course in person and virtually to seekers of this tradition all over the world from Italy to North America, where the fundamentals of Daff are taught, along with the psychological, emotional and spiritual healing effects of sound, devotional poetry and singing. Currently as she completes her specialization in Psychology with a focus on Islamic Spiritually Integrated Healing, she continues these works along with bringing together women for healing collectively through various practices whilst reviving the tradition of sacred gatherings of Remembrance.
